About aiQuant
aiQuant is an independent, honest guide to AI and algorithmic trading — how quant trading actually works, the tools worth your money, and the risks the marketing leaves out.
Educational only — not financial or investment advice. Trading carries a real risk of loss, and most retail algo traders lose money. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade.
Why this site exists
Automated trading is drowning in hype: “AI money printers,” guaranteed signals, screenshots of impossible returns. The reality is quieter and harder. AI and algorithms earn their keep as research and execution assistants — they test ideas faster than you can and hold positions without flinching — but a bot is only ever as good as the strategy behind it, and a strategy is only as good as its testing. Automating a bad idea just loses money faster.
aiQuant is the resource we wished existed: plain-English explanations of the quant workflow, honest tool comparisons, worked examples you can actually run, and caveats stated out loud instead of buried in footnotes.
Who it’s for
Retail traders and developers who want to automate strategies and can read a bit of code — technical, skeptical of hype, allergic to “get rich” pitches. If you’re after a signal group promising 90% win rates, we’ll save you the scroll: wrong site.
How we stay honest
We may use affiliate links, and we’re upfront about it: some links to the tools we cover may earn us a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. That funding never changes our rankings or what we recommend, and it never softens the risk warnings. We also keep the higher-risk options — prop-firm challenges, where most people pay a fee and never pass — clearly flagged as exactly that. Read our methodology and full affiliate disclosure.
